Introduction

I am Calyo Delphi. For the most part, I tend to appear as a black featherdragon of sorts with green eyes. I have short, ribbed horns, a spade-less tail, and body-length sensory antennae. However, in reality I am a living latex goo creature, and this form to which I tend to default is a residual self-image of myself when I was previously flesh & bone.

I currently live just a stone's throw north of Austin in Round Rock, Texas, situated right on I-35. Web design is a fairly strong interest of mine. I know this site doesn't look terribly complicated or fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but I tend to prefer functional simplicity when technical complexity is not needed.

I am insatiably curious about anything and everything that catches my interest. Subjects of interest for me range from computers, to electronics, to linguistics and grammar, to sciences of all types, to history, to psychology, to economics, and so on. Currently active interests of mine include roleplay, kinks and fetishes, cooking, web design, music, movies, and automotive mechanics & technology.

Furry Lifestyle

I am what one would call a furry lifestyler. It already strongly defines who I am and how I identify myself. This is not to say that it is a lifestyle for everyone, however; for many furs it is but a hobby and nothing more. However, I also will not say that furry is only a hobby, because for me it sure isn't.

Anyone who says that it is either only a lifestyle OR a hobby, but can't accept that it can be both, is woefully close-minded. I have met many incredible people through the fandom, and have made some truly amazing friends; some are lifestylers and some are merely in it for the common interest. I have gone on some incredible adventures for the sake of meeting other furries. And I plan to go on many more incredible adventures in the future, all of them with my mates. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Sexuality & Relationships

I am also pansexual and polyamorous. I have three of the best mates that anyone could ever ask for. I love them for who they are—for their personalities and interests and aspirations. I want to share my life and companionship with them. However, this does not mean that when I am with them, that I am "taken" in the sense that I cannot play with others.

Sex to me is not an integral necessity for devotion in a relationship. I believe that if you truly love someone for who they are, then there isn't any need for sexual exclusivity. Furthermore, I believe that giving one's life partner some degree of acceptable sexual latitude and that extra bit of trust that they will engage in safe practices, also gives one's partner the option to seek out refreshing experiences with other individuals that can help prevent one's sexual life at home from becoming stale. If anything, I would consider my mates to be a reassuringly consistent sexual experience, when I do not wish to experience the unexpected.

I am also an omnikink and an aspiring kinkster in real life. I can enjoy fetish play involving an overwhelming variety of kinks, most of which I became interested in simply through curiosity. That's not to say that I don't have fetishes which I will not entertain; I do have personal limits, mostly for sanitary and moral reasons. But of the many kinks that I enjoy, the ones that I love most of all include: sticky (as in adhesives), latex, leash & collar, domination & submission, master/pet/slave play, tentacles, fellatio, excessive cum, and semi-permanent situations. These are not primary defining aspects of who I am, but they are an integral part of who I am. I will neither tolerate nor entertain any form of aggressive or antagonistic confrontation about my sexuality and relationships. I simply will not even grace with attention those who wish to actively speak out against my sexuality and relationships. Such people are worth neither my time, nor my emotional energy. I have friends with whom I can have much more positive emotional experiences on a daily basis.

Religious Beliefs

My religious beliefs are currently stuck in a sort of limbo. I do not consider myself to be agnostic, but I am also neither a pious individual nor am I atheist either. I simply have not yet truly discovered what I believe in, beyond that of Karma. If there is any one supernatural or divine concept in which I believe, it is Karma, without question.

Please do not try to push your beliefs on me, for I will never try to convince you to not believe what you believe. That said, I am not averse to polite conversation about how certain beliefs work within one's religion. In fact, I rather enjoy such conversations when they do not involve any form of pressing one's beliefs. This goes in line with my insatiable curiosity about things.

However, some of my personal moral boundaries can be identified in the Twelve Tenets that I created for the religion of one of my primary roleplay characters in the Furnet channel #MarjaskianMansion. While he does share the same name as my fursona, I will clarify right here and now that the Calyo Delphi in that roleplay setting is a different "individual" so-to-speak. Although you may sometimes hear me jokingly refer to myself as a god, it is just a harmlessly playful outlet for shameless narcissism.
